chame - named and written after a beautiful photograph

treetops tower high above heads,
a crown made of birds nests perched alone on a ledge - of branches.

the background is bare.
dark blue skies - thick blasts of fog,
rising like peaks of steam
from chimneys you've seen
in greyscale rooftop communities.

a girl stands in awe of it all.
a forest behind her,
each tree like the last.
they fill up the space like long blades of grass.

but this is not a feild.

it's far away, yet holds appeal -
that man made greenspace could never up hold.
atleast that's what this photograph told.

and the expression.
on her face.
calm.
wide eyed.
with a heart fast paced,
she waits.
onlooking greenery.
those peaks and valleys of steam and scenery.

she'll only ever feel as tall as these trees,
as widespread as this smokescreen of fog that billows.
the darkness of blue makes her head hit pillows -
that moss make below.
better than bird's feathers and softer than snow.
with colors on thousand times richer.

this is her mind's midnight picture.
