"i have a bone to pick with you and your interpretations. you see, sir. you have it all wrong. not only am i quite simply the best surgeon in the universe, i am also a large fan of perogies and dedicate most of my spare time to just that."
"..surgery?"
"perogies. i also enjoy operating on people, but mainly the perogies, son, as it does not involve intellect and a doctorate to cook/enjoy them."
"what brought you to this conclusion, sir?"
"i've decided that the best things in life are free,
although you pay for perogies and surgery..
entertainment can come quite cheap,
as you see, it's hard to keep
from laughing
at all this nonsense
about my profession, diet and tastes.
but son you see, the best things in life are free."
"but what about things that i enjoy to pay for? such as devices that can provide me with entertainment that i simply cannot get out of every day life?"
"oh, son, but you can, before technology was man."
"and before that?"
"dinosaurs."
"i already knew that, i guess. but i was never born into a world without this high-tech entertainment. i am not equipped to survive these conditions, well, the conditions i have never faced or known."
"erase what you know,
go back slow
live a life free from artificial entertainment,
i promise son, you'll learn to face it.
you may even realize,
that there before your very eyes
is a brain equipped to do much more
than open up the only door
we know
into a world of on the go,
and technological advancement
trust me, boy, it's an enhancement."
"i think i will give this a go, i like the sound of my own utility. before my time, we all got by just fine, without these distractions taking the place of solid brain power feeding the fires of our personal satisfaction. mindless, we have all become, relying on technology to lead us in the right direction. we have used our brains this far, and if that is so, we should be able to entertain ourselves. i do believe it get it, sir. i understand now what you say, and i'll remember every day, to treat myself as a source of my own entertainment and respect myself by knowing the vast varieties of knowledgeable spectrum i have within myself. at the end of the day, i paint my own picture, my actions, happiness and end result is all mine to bear the consequence. i am my own advancement in technology. thank you, sir."
